Introduction

Along Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, Julian Huxley and the other neo-Darwinists, the cosmic evolution, from the Big Bang up to now, presents nine levels of complexity, which can be grouped into three stages: the lithosphere (levels 1 to 5, the "dead" matter, -strings, quarks, particles, atoms, molecules- organised by elementary physical laws), the biosphere (levels 6 to 8, the "living" matter, -eobionts, protozoa, metazoa- organised by genetic codes and active by reflexes), and the noosphere (level 9, the "thinking" matter, -human society- organized by the software of the human brain and active by creative intelligence).

Mission

This website aims to become a think-tank for people who want to implement the Noosphere, i.e. to reflect creatively about a better future for humanity by gathering insight into its profound mechanisms. Their scientific tool is the integration technique which allows to yield plausibility out of apparently divergent theories.

The splendid Wikipedia site limits itself to facts of the past and some of the present, excluding all not yet generally accepted concepts. The scientific world tends to limit the qualification of "plausible" to theories that can be calculated and reproduced in the laboratory, de facto excluding innovative psychosocial theories and reliable thoughts about the next stage of human evolution (Teilhard called this the Noosphere). Hence we strongly need a website where plausible and useful ideas about perhaps the most important of all questions -man's happiness in a better future- can be collected, elaborated and shared by the general public and by stimulating creative thinkers.

Method

The technique of integration is very well suited to serve as a scientific method for applications where it is (still) impossible to calculate or to experiment. It doesn't yield proofs, but enhances the plausibility of hypotheses to levels comparable with the physical scientific method. Classical philosophers and scientists used this method intuitively. The technique was reintroduced by Hegel with his thesis / antithesis / synthesis theory, and is consciously used by postmodern thinkers from Whitehead to Wilber.

The technique of integration or integrative communication is the most essential interaction and thinking procedure between Peer-to-Peer forms of cooperation (p2p), where the rapprochement of individual contributions is considered as largely superior to the traditional method of proof, refutation and choice. This procedure led to applications as Linux, Wikipedia, etc.

At the same time, the integrative method appears to be the best tool to construct a website on such topics.
